About TikFlicker
What we built
TikFlicker is a simple, free tool for saving public TikTok videos in HD without the in-app watermark, or pulling out just the audio as an MP3. We built it because most other downloaders online are cluttered with intrusive ads, fake download buttons, or slow, unreliable extraction - we wanted something that just works. No popups you have to click through, no countdown timer pretending to "prepare" your file while an ad loads, and no bait-and-switch buttons that download something other than what you asked for.
Why we built it this way
Downloading a video you have every right to save - your own content, something a creator shared with permission, or a clip you want to reference - shouldn't require installing an app, creating an account, or handing over your email address. We started from that premise and worked backward: what's the minimum a person actually needs to get a clean copy of a public TikTok video? A link box and a download button, it turns out. Everything else on this site exists to support that one interaction, not distract from it.
Our mission
Keep this free, keep it anonymous, and keep it easy - in that order. Free means no paywalls or "premium" tiers hiding basic functionality. Anonymous means no login, no tracking of what you personally download, and no data tied to your identity. Easy means the whole process - paste, choose a format, download - should take less time to do than it took to read this sentence.
How it's different
Everything runs through our own server, so there's nothing to install and no browser extension required. We don't ask for an account, we don't track what you download, and we don't store your files after they're delivered to you - details are in our Privacy Policy. Video and audio files stream directly from TikTok's own servers to your device; at no point does a copy sit on ours, even temporarily.
Our values
Privacy first: we built this without an account system on purpose, not because we couldn't build one. Transparency: our Disclaimer and Terms of Service explain plainly what this tool does and doesn't do, and where the responsibility for how you use downloaded content sits with you. And a clean experience: no interstitial ads standing between you and your file.
Independent project
TikFlicker is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. in any way. All trademarks, logos, and brand names mentioned belong to their respective owners. We simply help you save videos that are already publicly visible on TikTok - see our Terms of Service for what that does and doesn't cover.
